Найбільш яскравий метеорний потік року – зорепад Персеїди земляни могли спостерігати на цих вихідних. Ми зібрали найефектніші фото та відео, якими глядачі активно ділились у соцмережах. Зорепад Персеїди було видно неозброєним оком, найкраще його можна було побачити за межами великих міст. Пік зорепаду припав на вечір 11 серпня о 22:00. Також яскравим явище було у ніч на 13 серпня, після опівночі.
Наступний зорепад, що має назву Драконіда, можна буде побачити з 8 по 10 жовтня.

A bright green Perseid meteor shooting through Sagittarius, ‘hitting’ the Third Flatiron! But I missed the monster; the ‘one that got away’; the one I can’t prove cuz I didn’t get the shot. Must meteors are just a mere grain of sand falling through our atmosphere at incredible speed, burning up on the way down. The one I missed was a fireball; the size of a pebble probably. That one looked as if someone shot a flare 100 yards in front of me - but a falling flare - and about 10x as bright as the one in this photo.
